Day 1:Arrival in Marrakech

Highlights:Marrakech Medina,Jemaa el-Fnaa,Koutoubia Mosque,Souks

Morning:Arrive in Marrakech.Transfer to your riad/hotel.

Afternoon:Explore the old Medina,visit the Koutoubia Mosque,and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Evening:Wander around Jemaa el-Fnaa square(snake charmers,street food,music).

Optional:Dinner with a traditional Moroccan show(Fantasia).

Day 2:Marrakech→Aït Ben Haddou→Ouarzazate

Highlights:Atlas Mountains,UNESCO site,Kasbahs,Film studios

Morning:Depart through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass.

Midday:Visit Aït Ben Haddou(UNESCO World Heritage site).

Afternoon:Continue to Ouarzazate(visit Atlas Studios or Taourirt Kasbah).

Evening:Relax in a hotel or traditional guesthouse.

Day 3:Ouarzazate→Merzouga(Sahara Desert)

Highlights:Draa Valley,Camel trek,Desert sunset

Morning:Drive through the Draa Valley,passing oases and Berber villages.

Afternoon:Arrive in Merzouga,switch to camels for a trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Sunset:Watch the sunset from the top of a dune.

Night:Enjoy dinner and Berber music under the stars in a desert camp.

Overnight in a Sahara desert camp

Day 4:Merzouga→Midelt→Ifrane→Fes

Highlights:Ziz Valley,Cedar forests,Atlas Mountains

Morning:Return by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga,then drive north.

Pass by:Ziz Valley,Midelt,and Azrou’s cedar forests(see monkeys!).

Late afternoon:Stop in Ifrane,known as the"Switzerland of Morocco."

Evening:Arrive in Fes.

Afternoon:Free time for shopping or relaxation.

Evening:Departure from Fes airport or return to Marrakech(if needed).
