Arriving at the duty-free shop at Tunis airport and returning to Hangzhou, the overall feeling is that North Africa is called a "fake Africa", which makes sense. Eating well is not a problem, and even good food can be enjoyed. Chinese food is everywhere, and everyone's snacks are finally given to local guides. We also live in high-rise buildings, and the prices there are relatively lower. Living at the same price is better than here, and we haven't seen mosquitoes and flies flying around. Water scarce, arid, and barren land are not common, and deserts also require a long journey to be seen. I ran around Morocco, and most of the areas were covered in green grass, giving off a feeling of small Europe. There was even a city that was introduced to tourists as "Africa's Little Switzerland". Perhaps there are relatively fewer people going to Africa, planes are often not fully booked, and economy class is not so crowded. You can arrive after a nap, and it feels like Africa is not far away. Tunisia, a major intangible cultural heritage country, is located in North Africa with an area of 164000 square kilometers and a population of 12 million. As a convergence point of Mediterranean civilization, its history can be traced back to the Carthaginian Empire in the 9th century BC, and later went through Roman, Arab, and Ottoman rule, leaving behind numerous relics such as the World Heritage Site of Carthaginian Ancient City and the Erjm Colosseum. The country has 8 UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage sites. Tunisia is known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean", blending Arab charm with European style, with blue and white towns, desert oases, and ancient markets interwoven into a unique landscape. As the first country in Africa to abolish monarchy, its modern policies are open, tourism industry is developed, and visa free access for Chinese tourists makes it an ideal gateway to explore the history and natural beauty of North Africa.
